The patch is applied once weekly for three consecutive weeks, followed by a patch-free week to allow for withdrawal bleeding. It is designed for placement on clean, dry skin areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, back, or upper arm, avoiding areas with irritation or excessive friction. If a patch becomes loose or detached, it must be replaced immediately to maintain contraceptive efficacy.
