The E-Z CLEAN™ Electrosurgical Electrode, 4IN Modified Blade, 10.2CM Length, is an electrosurgical accessory designed for use with compatible electrosurgical pencils and other electrosurgical accessories. The electrode features a modified blade configuration with a total length of 10.2 cm (4 inches). Its design supports electrosurgical tissue treatment while incorporating surface features intended to simplify cleaning and reduce the accumulation of tissue residue during use.

The electrode blade is coated with nonstick polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which helps reduce eschar build-up on the blade surface. This coating facilitates the removal of accumulated eschar using damp gauze or a sponge, helping maintain the electrode surface during electrosurgical procedures. Reduced residue accumulation can support cleaning efficiency during use and minimize interruptions associated with removing adherent tissue material from the blade.

The E-Z CLEAN™ electrode is also designed to generate less smoke than an uncoated stainless-steel blade. Its distal tip has a 4 mm exposure, a design feature intended to help minimize alternate-site thermal injury. These features address practical considerations in electrosurgery, including blade maintenance, smoke generation, and the potential for unintended thermal effects at sites other than the intended treatment area.
