Violet Coated VICRYL™ 3-0 SH-1 27" Suture is a synthetic, absorbable, braided surgical suture composed of polyglactin 910, a copolymer of glycolide and lactide. It is coated with a proprietary polyglactin and calcium stearate mixture to enhance handling and knot security. The violet coloration improves visibility in tissue, allowing for precise placement during surgical procedures.

The SH-1 needle is a 26 mm, 1/2 circle reverse cutting needle crafted from stainless steel. It offers excellent penetration and precision, particularly in tough or fibrous tissues such as skin or fascia. The 27-inch length allows for versatile use in medium-depth closures or multi-layer suturing.
