Description

The Double-Armed PDS™ II Endo Port Closure Suture is an absorbable monofilament surgical suture designed for high-tensile wound support, especially suited for port-site and deep tissue closure. It is composed of polydioxanone, a synthetic polymer known for its extended strength retention and controlled absorption profile.

Each suture features a double-armed configuration with two V-38 needles, each measuring 30 mm in length. These curved needles offer excellent maneuverability through soft tissue during minimally invasive laparoscopic or endoscopic surgeries. The 18-inch suture length is appropriate for confined surgical fields where controlled handling and limited suture memory are critical.
