The Dart Daily Air Removal Test is one of the most widely recognized pre-assembled Bowie-Dick test pack products used in monitoring healthcare steam sterilizers. It meets ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-4 requirements for Class 2 Air Removal Indicator Systems and operates at 270-274°F/132-134°C with an exposure time of 3.5-4.0 minutes. The Dart test is easy to use. It#s a lightweight, compact, one-piece system ready for use. You will never again have to spend time looking for towels and preparing packs. By using the Dart test, you can eliminate all the waste associated with #paper box# products. No more shuffling through packs looking for the test results. The unique compact barrel design creates a barrier to air removal and steam penetration. The Daily Air Removal Test is placed directly into an otherwise empty steam sterilizer chamber and does not require a retaining device. An optional tie is provided for suspension of the DART test. During processing, steam must displace the air through the blue heat sink and then within the restricted transparent chamber of the chemical indicator. Results are immediately visible through the clear vial. A uniform color change from yellow to black indicates that all the air was removed and replaced by steam. When the test is completed, simply snap off the window, slide out the chemical indicator, and record the results. Special record forms are included for your convenience.
