STRATAFIX™ Spiral PDS™ Suture, violet, size 0, 70 cm, with CT-1 needle, is a synthetic, absorbable, knotless barbed suture composed of polydioxanone. It is designed to deliver secure tissue approximation without the need for knot tying, providing even tension distribution along the suture line. The violet coloration enhances intraoperative visibility, aiding in precise placement.

The CT-1 needle is a 1/2 circle taper point type, suitable for soft tissue applications. It is constructed from stainless steel for strength and smooth tissue penetration. The 70 cm suture length allows sufficient coverage for closure of larger wounds or deeper anatomical layers.

STRATAFIX™ PDS™ Plus sutures are intended for single-use only. Once opened, unused portions should be discarded to maintain sterility and prevent contamination. These sutures are typically used in general soft tissue approximation, including subcuticular closure and fascial repair, where long-term absorbable support and reduced operative time are beneficial.
