Maxon™ Green Suture, size 5/0, 1 x 30", with CV-22/T-30 needles, is a synthetic, monofilament absorbable suture composed of polyglyconate. It is engineered to provide extended wound support with minimal tissue reactivity. The suture's green coloration enhances visibility during surgical procedures, supporting precision in placement and handling.

This suture offers high initial tensile strength and gradual absorption, making it suitable for applications requiring prolonged approximation. Its monofilament structure minimizes tissue drag and reduces the risk of bacterial harboring. Maxon™ is designed to maintain approximately 50% of its tensile strength for up to 4–5 weeks, supporting healing tissues during critical early phases.
