Lidocaine HCl / Epinephrine 2% - 1:100,000 Injection Multiple-Dose Vial 50 mL, a generic equivalent to Xylocaine®, is designed for local or regional anesthesia via various infiltration and nerve block techniques. It is not intended for epidural or caudal administration. Each vial is a multiple-dose glass flip-top container containing Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Epinephrine Injection, USP, with a concentration of 2% lidocaine and epinephrine 1:100,000.

The vial includes methylparaben at a concentration of 1 mg/mL as a preservative. The cap color is red for easy identification. Storage conditions require temperatures between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) in accordance with USP Controlled Room Temperature guidelines. It's crucial to protect the vial from light to maintain its efficacy.
