Tegaderm™ dressing is a sterile dressing thus providing an effective barrier to bacteria and viruses. The unique non-stick pad is patient friendly enahncing wound healing and making the process less trauamtic for the patient. It does not stick to the wound site providing a comfortable patient experience.

The 3M™ Tegaderm™ +Pad Film island dressing is a sterile, waterproof, viral, and bacterial barrier that is made up of a non-adherent absorbent pad bonded to a larger thin film transparent dressing thus serving an all-in-one purpose. It is sued on acute wounds such as cuts or abrasions. It is also used in post surgical dressing of areas where swelling and movement is expected.

Skin can function normally with good moisture vapor and oxygen exchange thanks to the breathable film. Conformable dressing is easy to apply and stretches with the skin for long-lasting wear. In vitro testing demonstrates that the transparent film provides a viral barrier against viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger, while the dressing remains intact and leak-free. The use of a sterile dressing that is all-in-one saves time.

A watertight barrier that allows patients to bathe or shower without removing their dressing. Because the non-adherent pad does not adhere to the wound, normal wound healing processes can occur with less pain and trauma. The dressing is required for the following departments and purposes: emergency, urgent care, wound care, first aid, intensive care unit (ICU), Medical-surgical, Oncology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, and Dialysis center. The island dressing is clear, hypoallergenic, and free of latex. It is available in the following dimensions: 3-1/2 inch x 4 inch (9cm x 10cm) Pad 1-3/4 inch x 2-3/8 inch (4.5 cm x 6 cm).
